आरती तुकारामाची

आरती तुकारामाची संत तुकाराम यांचा गौरव करणारे एक भक्तिगीत आहे — ते 17व्या शतकातील संत-कवी आणि वारकरी भक्ती परंपरेतील सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय व्यक्तिमत्त्व होते. पुण्याजवळील देहू गावात जन्मलेल्या तुकारामांनी हजारो अभंग सोप्या मराठीत रचले जे सामान्य माणसांशी भक्ती, सत्य आणि विठ्ठलाच्या शरणागतीबद्दल थेट बोलत. आरती त्यांना 'स्वामी सद्गुरुधामा' — खऱ्या दिव्य गुरूचे निवासस्थान — म्हणून सन्मानित करते.

Aarti Tukaramachi celebrates Sant Tukaram, the 17th-century saint-poet and the most beloved figure of the Warkari Bhakti tradition. Born in Dehu village near Pune, Tukaram composed thousands of abhangas (spiritual poems) in simple Marathi that spoke to ordinary people about devotion, truth, and surrender to Vitthal. The aarti honours him as 'Swami Sadgurdhama' — the abode of the true divine teacher — and his abhangas are sung in kirtans throughout Maharashtra to this day.
