Chapter 5

First Among the Gods

Shiva and Parvati blessed Ganesha with a place of supreme honor. He was declared the first to be worshipped before all auspicious acts, so that every journey may begin with clarity, protection, and grace.

Seeing the child's devotion and new divine form, Shiva embraced him as his son. Parvati's joy returned, and the heavens became peaceful once more.

Then came a blessing that would echo through time: Ganesha would be worshipped before all other deities in every sacred beginning. Without his grace, even noble efforts might face delay or confusion.

This is why devotees remember him first at weddings, journeys, studies, and new work. His name opens the path and fills the heart with confidence.
